1. Agreement

By accessing or using Trust Score Analyzer (“the Service”) at trust-meter.com, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is operated by Steve Lichtman.

2. Description of Service

Trust Score Analyzer is a website analysis tool that evaluates publicly accessible websites across trust-based principles and provides scored reports, recommendations, and AI-generated suggestions. The Service is offered on a free tier (limited analyses per week) and a paid Pro tier (unlimited analyses and advanced features).

3. Accounts

You must create an account to access reports and dashboard features. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share accounts or use the Service on behalf of others without their knowledge.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Submit URLs for analysis without authorization to access those sites
Use the Service to scrape, harvest, or build datasets for resale
Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or interfere with the analysis engine
Use automated scripts to submit analyses beyond normal usage patterns
Submit illegal, harmful, or abusive content
Misrepresent your identity or affiliation

The Service fetches publicly accessible pages only. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to analyze any URL you submit.

5. Subscription and Billing

Free Plan

Free accounts may run up to 3 website analyses per 7-day period. Free reports include a partial action plan. No credit card is required.

Pro Plan

Pro subscriptions are available monthly ($19/month) or annually ($197/year). Pro subscribers receive unlimited analyses, full action plans, AI copy fix suggestions, competitor comparison, site monitoring, PDF export, and trust badge embedding.

Billing and Cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from your account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access through the period you paid for. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service.

6. Referral Program

Pro subscribers may participate in our referral program. Referral credits are applied to your Stripe account balance and automatically deducted from future invoices. Credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time. Fraudulent referral activity will result in account termination and forfeiture of credits.

7. Accuracy of Reports

Trust Score Analyzer provides automated analysis based on detectable signals in publicly accessible HTML. Reports represent our best assessment at the time of analysis and are not guarantees of business performance, conversion rates, or search engine rankings. Scores may vary based on page content, site structure, and detection capabilities. We do not warrant that reports are complete, error-free, or applicable to every business type.

Reports expire 30 days after generation. Expired reports may no longer be accessible.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI copy fix suggestions provided through the Service are generated by Anthropic's Claude model and are intended as starting points, not final copy. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving any AI-generated content before publishing. We are not liable for outcomes resulting from use of AI-generated suggestions.

9. Intellectual Property

The Trust Score Analyzer platform, scoring methodology, interface, and branding are owned by Steve Lichtman. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

You retain ownership of your website content. By submitting a URL, you grant us a limited license to fetch and analyze that content for the purpose of generating your report.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trust Score Analyzer and Steve Lichtman shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that the Service will meet your specific requirements.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these terms or engage in activity harmful to the Service or other users. Upon termination, your access to reports and dashboard data will cease. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice in your dashboard. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
